Sorry that I haven't blogged in a long time and thanks to Crazy Sister I am going to add another post that she reminded me about.

When Boody Boy was just 2 and a bit he bought out some of my chocolate. Now being our first child we were quite strict with what he could and couldn't eat so I had told him "No mate, you can't have any chocolate." He then wandered to the lounge where Snuffy was laying in the bouncer (I might add that she was only a couple of months old, breast fed and wasn't old enough for solids.) Boody Boy then preceded in his biggest most grown up voice at that stage,"no choccie" and preceded to pull out a HUGE lump of chocolate from her mouth that she had started to choke on. Boody Boy had been 'sharing' as had been drummed into him since he was a baby and he was very good at it even at that age(Though Snuffy, at 2 and a half still has not quite grasped this concept yet) I guess he did not realise that his sister could of choked. Neither Mr Fix It nor myself knew whether we should punish him or explain to him as he didn't mean to(well I don' think so?!?!?)

Lets just say that we were very relieved that it hadn't taken a turn for the worse and our son was a wonderful sharer. My heart though took a while to stop the uncontrollable fast pace that it had been beating at.

The 5 senses

Hi, can you list the 5 best things in your life according to your senses ie - one thing for each sense.

Sight - Foals galloping around on long spindly legs

Taste-Chocolate

Touch-Of my husbands skin. His kisses etc.

Smell - Of rain on the earth/new baby

Hear - The gigglies of my children (or any child really)

Have a go as its is not always easy to limit it to one thing only (hence my smell one)

What is the fasination with Poo

Just to notify everyone - Mr Fix It hates his photo. Well that cant be helped as all our other photos are on the lap top hard drive not the new computer so at the moment it is tough biccies!!!

I was packing the dishwasher this morning and my children were very quiet which either means a) they have died or b) they are into some really big mischief but when I went to investigate they are both sitting in their car seats from the car and Boody Boy is reading to Snuffy and she was listening!?! Here I was thinking that I had finally done something right when I sneak up closer all I can hear is 'He is going to poop all over your head"(Boody Boy) to which Snuffy laughs histerically and in her husky Marilyn voice says 'Noooo, all ofa mummy head" and they both start again in this histerical laughter. I guess I should just be thankful that they are not fighting for 2 minutes even if its at my expense!

At the moment everything is about Poo and it does get embarassing. I spend my time trying to enrich my children lives with colour, nature, strange people in the shopping centres but all they seem to care about is the wonderful body function of poo.

Introduction

Hi, I guess as I have never done blogging before you will have to be very patient with me. I can break in a horse but computers are a totally different matter.

I have started this as we dont live near any of our family and this is a way that they can keep up with all the kwirks of our daily lives.

We will be moving to a small mining town in April as Motel Managers so this will be a total life overhaul. I have no idea how it will go and why not vent to complete strangers - sounds reasonable to me.
